The
aesthetic philosophy of my work is to seek and explore
visual equivalents of Jazz. In this regard, I am
thoroughly committed to unpredictable outcomes,
bizarre associations, complex textures and
improvisational working methods.
The content of my work is often abstract in form as that
allows more room for improvisation which is at the heart
of jazz culture. Wherever possible, the works are
improvised, spontaneous, and designed to enhance the
spaces in which they will live.
I prefer to know my clients and collectors in order to
better address and engage their spirit.
Philosophically, spiritually, stylistically and
thematically my preference is for positive imagery inspired
by the irony and "Hip-Hop-cracy" inherent in
American culture.
